Wedding Crashers

Friday night Lea and I saw Wedding Crashers starring Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson. Off the bat the two make an excellent comedic paring seemingly able to bounce quick wit and body language without effort.
The story itself surrounds the two main characters of John Beckwith and Jeremy Klein, a pair of committed womanizers who by all accounts masquerade as divorce mediators or something to that effect by day and skirt chasers by night and any other time they get the chance. Christmas may have its charm for most but the time of year that excites this pair is 'wedding season'. Each year they sneak into weddings to take advantage of the romantic viibe in the air, and the all too willing women that they meet. Upon attending the 'Wedding-of-the-Season' for Secretary Clearly played by Christopher Walken, John finds himself falling in love with Claire one the Secretary's daughters and Jeremy being stalked by another of his daughters (Gloria) a 'stage-5 virgin'. The weekend that ensues find them at odds with one another and tests their relationship as friends before the story cmes full circle to complete the traditional boy meets girls, boy loses girl, boy gets girl finaly. A brief appearance by Will Ferrell is also entertaining.
Overall this film is fun and it had us both laughing. This is a must see on DVD (but no kids allowed as it is an R Rating).
Life's a party. Crash it!!!
