The Weatherman

Another giant disappointment this weekend at the movies! After agonizing over the limited choices in the first place, we figured, given the good cast and the funny previews that this one would be our best choice. We couldnt have been more wrong! >_< So bad.. that a few people left the theatre before the film even ended!

What we thought would be a pretty good comedy/drama turned out to be one of the most depressing movies I've seen in a LOOONG time... not even the "funny" parts were really that funny, instead they were strange uncomfortable situations, like a 12 year old girl with a camel toe problem.. sure.. camel toe is funny.. but not on a 12 year old... o_O The subject of the story was basically of a weatherman and his woes... but the majority of it wasnt about his life as a weatherman.. rather that he was coming out of a failed marraige with 2 kids (one of which is an overweight, 12 year old girl with a smoking habit thats never addressed, and the 15 year old son goes to drug rehab counseling and his counselor happens to be into child pornography) all throughout he is trying to win his ex wife back, and fix his kids.. along with the burden of gaining the approval of his Pulitzer Prize winning father.. who... by the way... is dying.

Really.. for the first time ever... I think I would have rather *not* have seen this one! UGH
