The Ice Harvest

Ugh.

Maybe its a curse.
Its the absolute worst fall/Christmas season for movies EVER.

Excluding Harry Potter.... I just realized I didnt post a review for that! shame on me... thats coming soon~

SO... The Ice Harvest.. couldnt really figure out what genre they were going for... dark comedy... slapstick... film noir.... suspense.... wtf? I often found myself wondering.. "Am I supposed to be laughing at this?".... with such a great cast I figured we couldnt go wrong.. I mean c'mon... John Cusack! The film started off just as I thought it would be... kinda dark... damn funny... and of course with Billy Bob.. a little pervy.... but at some point all humor and fun was just dropped completely and the film turned into this completely dark film... it almost seems like one writer started off with the first half and passed the second half on to another... like two completely different movies crammed together... and in the end... youre wondering WTF the point to all of it was.... o_O

Once again, I should have read Rotten Tomatoes first!

I think anyone who like The Weatherman will absolutely LOVE this film.
