Intel Launches Conroe Tonight! - Core 2 Duo, Core 2 Extreme, all launching tonight! 1.86GHz for $183 to 2.93GHz for $999, availability to come on July 23rd. Intel's going to make deep price cuts on existing processors too.

By all accounts this new processor from Intel has the potential to reclaim some of the market share that has been slipping to their competitor AMD. Over at Bit-Tech.net they have completed an extensive series of benchmark tests for the new processors. What kind of a response can we expect from AMD I wonder?
