In short, I have used IE since it's inception, and remember the browsers wars with Netscape. There was a time that things just worked better in Netscape. Then IE4 came out, and support DHTML, making some cool coding and display, very easy.. IE4 edged out as the winner of the browser wars... And while the mozilla world has come light years, with playing catch up, I am just used to IE and like it.
However, I have a pretty good clue as to how to protect myself and my system. I know what to do, and what not to do to, in order to stay safe. IE and Windows both have historically been weak with security. But just like placing a gold bar at my feet, and an HK MP5 in my hands.. That gold bar will be protected by me..
That said.. If you are not a computer security super freak, who knows how to stay safe.. Firefox is the very simple choice to do so with ease!
