That's the word I'd use to describe this latest offering from Terry Gilliam. I have enjoyed some of his more extravagent attempts to entertain (Time Bandits, Brazil and multi-Monty Python to name a few) over the years, but this one somehow lost the plot entirely. Nice sets, good costume, so so acting and a story that plain SUCKED!! There were so many confusing elements of fairy tales that pulled a little here and a little there not to mention the fact that creative license to use the 'Jake and the magic beans' reference pulling from the story of Jack and The Beanstalk is not even a Brothers Grimm story! Overall very disappointing!!
