Why do terrorists resort to such tactics when ultimately it gets them nowhere. The U.K. (London in particular) has been subjected to numerous attacks by various factions over the years, most notably by the I.R.A. but has it helped their individual causes, I think not! It has however given them their 5-minutes of infamy and resulting entries on wanted posters everywhere.
