Brothers Grimm

Possibly the worst movie ever..

..and what a huge dissapointment! I was actually kind of looking forward to this movie... considering that sort is my favorite genre, and I am a Grimm fan & a Gilliam fan (go Time Bandits!)... for the first half hour of the film I was trying to figure out if I was feeling the effects of the wine I just had or if the movie really wasnt making any sense.... but I soon realized it wasnt me, when people in the audience started getting up and leaving... it was that bad. The story line was vague if not non-existant.. randomly throwing in notable childhood folklore characters into the mix without rhyme or reason... the special effects were even worse... better effects should be expected from a made for television series! I think the only thing the film had going for it was sets that were nice to look at and good costume design.... not even the soundtrack was worthwhile! :-( The idea itself is a good concept... it was just all horribly pulled together. I think that one was just as aweful to me as Tomb Raider 2.
